Suspension Management Overview

Understanding suspensions on B/R is crucial for maintaining a respectful community environment:

  • Reasons for Suspension: Suspensions usually result from violations of B/R's community guidelines, which include prohibitions against explicit, abusive, harmful, hateful, or violent content or behavior.
  • Effects of a Suspension: A community-specific suspension disables your social actions within that community for 24 hours. A suspension across the entire B/R platform prevents you from using social actions anywhere on the platform for 24 hours.
  • Appealing a Suspension: B/R understands that errors can occur and offers a process to review suspensions. If you've been suspended and believe it was in error, you can submit an appeal through our Banned Account Appeal form. Our moderation team will assess your request, and consider your appeal.

This framework helps ensure that everyone on B/R can contribute to a positive and inclusive online community.

 

Reporting and Profile Review

Understanding how to report and manage content on B/R helps maintain a respectful and secure community:

  • Reporting Comments and Posts: If you believe a comment or post violates community guidelines, you can report it by clicking the three dots on the desired post and selecting the report option. Our moderation team will review and take necessary actions.
  • Reporting User Profiles: To report a user profile that seems to not adhere to community standards, click on the profile, then the three dots in the upper right corner, and choose 'report user'. The moderation team will evaluate the report and address it appropriately.
  • Profile Under Review: Your profile may be under review to ensure compliance with community guidelines, particularly concerning your username, profile picture, name, and bio. This review is typically completed within 48 hours.
  • Understanding Time-Outs: A time-out is employed as a preventive measure when discussions become overly heated, allowing members a break to cool off and return with a better perspective.

This process ensures that B/R remains a platform where sports fans can safely and enjoyably interact, while keeping the community environment healthy and constructive.
